FAQ's

Welcome to the Cody Subritzky FAQ section, your resource for straightforward answers about our services, processes, and dedication to your financial well-being. Whether you are curious about our fee structure, the steps involved in securing a loan, or our investment philosophy, this section is designed to provide clear and transparent information. At Cody Subritzky, we believe informed clients make the best decisions, and we are committed to providing the clarity and trust you need to feel confident in your financial journey.

Cody Subritzky is a New Zealand-based financial advice company specialising in residential property lending (mortgages) and investment advice. Our services include securing new home loans, refinancing/restructuring existing mortgages, investment property finance, and providing broader financial guidance.

In most instances, there is no direct cost to you for our mortgage advice services, as we are typically paid a commission by the lender (bank) once your loan settles. If a fee is required due to the complexity of your situation or choice of lender, this will be clearly discussed and agreed upon with you upfront before any charges are implemented.

As independent financial advisers, we work for you, not the bank. We can compare and negotiate with a wide range of New Zealand lenders (banks and non-bank lenders) to find the loan or financial structure that best suits your specific needs and goals. Going to your bank only gives you access to their limited range of products.

Yes, we operate under a Financial Advice Provider (FAP) licence and our advisers follow the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services, ensuring we act with integrity, provide suitable advice, and prioritise your best interests.
